Novated OS
Software for novated leasing

The whole novated lease. One system.

One record from the first quote to the final payout. Nothing re-keyed, nothing sitting in a spreadsheet, and nobody waiting on someone else to send a quote back.

Providers
Run the whole book on one system, under your own brand.
Dealers
Keep the finance, the aftermarket and the margin.
Brokers
Write the lease you currently refer away.
The actual problem

Four systems, and the deal falls down the gaps between them.

TODAY ON NOVATED OS CRM Document store Quoting spreadsheet Lease system Inbox Dealer Broker Employer Driver ONE DEAL RECORD Quote to payout

Every one of those gaps is a re-key, and every re-key is a figure that can end up different from the one the customer was shown. One record removes the gaps.

Three ways in

One platform underneath, and Novo working in all of it. What you get depends on which side of the deal you sit on.

01
Novated leasing providers

The whole book on one system, with the employer and the driver already in it.

Quoting, credit, settlement, the ledger, FBT, and five years of running the lease. Plus two portals nobody else has: one where employers sign themselves up and pull their own payroll files, and one where drivers look after their own lease instead of ringing you. It all sits on one record, so the figure you quote in year one is the figure the statement matches in year four.

It did not exist, so we built it, and it is the best in class.

  • Quote, finance, settle and manage in life on one deal record
  • Employer portal: onboarding, agreement signing, approvals, payroll files, leavers
  • Driver portal: budgets, claims, statements, odometer, reminders, their own assistant
  • A ledger per lease, remittances, arrears and FBT reporting
  • Novo working every step, so your consultants stay on the phone selling
  • Your own brand and your own domain, live in days rather than a build project
02
Dealers

Novated leasing costs you money.

Your salesperson takes the enquiry, runs the test drive and does the demo. Then the packager writes the finance, sells the aftermarket, and buys the car through a fleet company. Three revenue lines leave with your customer, you pay a procurement fee, and then you wait to see if you even win the deal.

Ask most novated software for a price and you are sending an email and waiting for someone to reply.

Write it at your own desk, and keep the lot.

  • The finance is yours, brokerage struck on drive-away and paid on settlement
  • Options, aftermarket, extended warranty and the home charger install are financed into the lease and stay yours
  • No procurement fee, and the car still sells at your price
  • A price on screen in under a minute, with your logo on it
03
Finance brokers

Lending is contracting. Novating is not.

Home loan and commercial volumes are down, and so are the margins. Novated leasing has grown since the FBT exemption came in, and most of the salaried clients on your book qualify for one. You already know them, and you have already been through their numbers.

It is the one loan you cannot write. So your client takes the car loan and ends up worse off, or you send them somewhere else and do not get them back.

Write it yourself, from the book you already have.

  • The car loan and the novated lease side by side on the same car, so the difference is obvious
  • A second income stream from clients you already have
  • A genuine tax saving to offer them, not just a sharper rate
  • We verify their employer, and you are paid on settlement
For dealers and brokers

Your customer is handed back to you at the end of the lease.

Leases are facilitated by a partner management company that takes business only through us. It does not market to the public and has no retail arm, so there is no call centre working your database. At the end of the term the customer is handed back to you to contact about their next car. You introduced them, so they stay yours.

What it is worth

Same car. Same person. The difference is tax.

One real deal, priced by the same engine that prices every quote on the platform. A $55,000 electric car, a $120,000 salary, five years, WA.

What actually leaves their pay each fortnight, once the car is running and the fuel, servicing, tyres, rego and insurance are all inside the lease.

Car loan $669 a fortnight
Novated lease $414 a fortnight
$33,222
better off over the five years, or $255 every fortnight.

Novo answers the question, then does the job.

Named after novation, the mechanism the whole thing runs on. Nobody else in the industry has anything like it. What you use Novo for depends on which side of the deal you are on.

Dealers

Upload the invoice, get the quote

Drop the tax invoice in. Novo reads the drive-away price, stamp duty, rego, CTP, options and LCT, right down to the plate and the odometer, then prices the final quote from it. Accurate, and back in front of the customer while they are still at your desk.

Finance brokers

The tax saving, properly worked

Ask how much better off a client would be and get a real number, worked on their salary and the car they want. The novated lease and the car loan sit on the same screen, so you are talking about the difference, not the rate.

Providers

Quoted to settled, without paper

Quote it, let the driver accept on their phone, sign their employer up, and settle. All of it digital. Then run the lease for its term on the same record, with every document and every conversation in one place.

Walks the customer through the finance application

Answers as they fill it in, so it is finished in one sitting instead of abandoned halfway.

Fills the handover forms

Where an employer lets staff bring their own lease, the other provider’s forms are filled in from the deal instead of retyped.

Reads a driver's claim

Receipt photo in, vendor, date, GST and category out, checked against what is left in that budget.

Proposes the approval

Within budget it comes back ready to approve. Outside it, it says why, and waits.

Adjusts the budgets

Reduce a running cost, see the new deduction before committing, and send it to the employer.

Reconciles what comes in

Inbound payments matched to the leases that earned them, so nobody spends a morning on a bank statement.

For the driver

Their own lease, on hand

The person in the car gets an assistant of their own. It reads their lease and answers the things that would otherwise be a phone call: what comes out this fortnight, what the budgets cover, when the next service is due, what happens at the end.

Their documents and the whole history sit in the same place, on the same lease. This is the part of the product a driver actually sees, and it is why the next person in their office asks for one.

Win the employer and you win the whole office.

A book grows two ways: more employers, and more drivers inside each one. Both come down to being easier to deal with than anyone else. So both are done on screen, start to finish, with nothing printed.

Winning the employer

Signed up without a single piece of paper.

Payroll has to say yes, and payroll says no to anything that makes work. The whole sign-up runs itself from one link.

  1. They fill in the employer information form online. Payroll contact, pay cycle, pay dates, how they want to pay.
  2. That answer sends the salary packaging agreement to the authorised signatory automatically.
  3. Signing it produces the executed PDF and opens their portal on the spot, with a login for everyone they nominated.
  4. After that they approve each employee's lease themselves, and their approval sends the driver's finance application automatically.
Keeping payroll happy

The two files payroll actually asks for.

An employer stays when the monthly admin is nothing. Theirs is self serve, behind a password and a code sent to their own phone.

  1. A payroll deduction file they download themselves, per cycle, no email to anybody.
  2. An STP finalisation file for reportable fringe benefits at year end.
  3. Deduction advice per employee, and one consolidated tax invoice to pay.
  4. Due dates set from their pay cycle, not ours. Flag a leaver, approve a budget change, message the consultant, all in the same place.
Winning the driver

Accepted on a phone, in the dealership.

The driver never sees a form pack. They see a quote, a comparison against a car loan, and a button.

  1. Quote accepted digitally, then the finance application on the same phone.
  2. Licence and payslip photographed, not typed. The fields come back filled and they confirm them.
  3. Signed digitally. Nothing printed, nothing scanned, nothing posted.
Keeping the driver

Five years of not having to ring anyone.

Take-up inside an employer is word of mouth. The first driver sells the second one, which makes their experience the marketing.

  1. Their own portal: budgets by category, spent against remaining, and a statement whenever they want one.
  2. Snap a receipt to claim it, and home charging reimbursed at the ATO rate.
  3. Odometer from the phone. Service, rego and tyre reminders before the date, not after.
  4. An assistant that reads their lease and answers at ten at night, so it never becomes your phone call.

The quote is the easy part. The five years after it are not.

Once the car is delivered the lease runs for five years. Money has to move every pay cycle, the tax has to be right, and dates keep coming around. This is where a provider loses money, and it is the part most software does not do at all.

Getting the car out
  • Fourteen steps, in order, so nothing gets missed when someone is away
  • The settlement pack, tax invoice and payroll advice all written for you
  • Everyone who has to be paid, paid on the right date
  • It cannot settle until the insurance is confirmed
The money
  • Every lease has its own ledger, so you can see what each one took in and paid out
  • Payment files ready to upload to your bank
  • Late payments flagged and chased early, while they are still small
  • Money that comes in is matched to the lease it belongs to
The things that have to be right
  • FBT worked out and reported the same way the lease was quoted
  • Deductions fall due on the employer's own pay cycle, not a generic one
  • Odometer readings collected, and budgets checked against real spending
  • Rego, servicing and tyres flagged before the date goes past

All of it runs off the same record as the original quote. The number the customer was shown at the dealership is still the number on their statement four years later, because nobody ever typed it in a second time.

A deal, end to end

Six steps. The first four happen at your desk. The last two happen without you.

01
Quote them
Pick the car, present the savings live at the desk.
02
Price the contract
Upload the tax invoice. It reads the figures.
03
They accept it
Signed off on their phone. Nothing printed.
04
Finance application
They fill it in, and it comes straight through.
05
Checked and settled
Employer confirmed, finance approved, lease settled.
06
Run for the term
Budgets, FBT, rego and servicing, right to the payout.

Quote it, hand it off, get paid.

That is the whole job. There is no specialist to ring and nothing sitting in your inbox waiting on someone else to send a quote back. Everyone else in this industry charges a large setup fee, takes a year to get you running, then charges a licence on top of that. We charge a monthly fee and you are working within days.

Dealers

One monthly fee per dealership, and one settled lease covers it.

  • Every lease after that is money you used to hand to someone else
  • Your whole sales team included, not charged per person
  • Novo comes with it, and is not sold separately

Finance brokers

A smaller monthly fee, because you will write fewer of them.

  • You are not paying what a large dealer group pays
  • Runs alongside the lending you already write
  • Stop any time, and the deals you have written keep paying you

Providers

Priced on the size of the book you run on it.

  • No setup fee, and nothing to pay to bring your existing leases across
  • Nothing to install, and no servers to look after
  • Your own brand and your own web address from day one

We build the software. That is the whole business.

Novated OS does not write leases, does not hold them, and does not market to drivers. There is no book here that grows when yours does, and nobody on this side with a reason to be in front of your customers. You run your business on it, under your own brand, and it stays yours.

There is also a clock on this. A novated lease signed before 1 April 2027 keeps the full FBT exemption for its whole term, and after that date the concession narrows on anything above $75,000. Between now and then, whoever can put a price in front of a customer fastest writes the business.
